1. About OYR
OYR is a platform that connects homeowners and property owners with independent contractors who provide roofing, solar and gutter services. OYR does not perform these services, does not employ the contractors, and is not responsible for the quality or completion of any work carried out by contractors.
All contractors operate as independent businesses. OYR provides a referral and information service only.
2. Use of the Website
You must use this website in accordance with Australian law. You agree not to misuse the website, provide false information, interfere with website security, or attempt to access restricted areas without authorisation.
OYR may update or change the website and its content at any time without notice.
3. Service Requests
When you submit a service request, OYR may share your details with independent contractors for the purpose of quoting, scheduling or contacting you regarding the requested service.
OYR does not guarantee that a contractor will accept the job, attend at a specific time, or complete the work within a certain period.
You are responsible for assessing the suitability, credentials, qualifications, licences and insurance of any contractor before agreeing to proceed.
4. Contractor Responsibilities
Contractors are responsible for:
- providing accurate pricing and service information
- complying with Australian Standards and state and local regulations
- holding all required licences, accreditations and insurance
- carrying out work safely and professionally
- providing warranties or guarantees for their own work
OYR is not involved in contractor hiring, supervision, workmanship, communication or job management.
5. No Warranty or Guarantee
OYR does not warrant:
- the quality of work performed by independent contractors
- the accuracy of information provided by contractors
- the availability, conduct or reliability of contractors
- that services will meet your specific expectations
All agreements, payments and work arrangements are made directly between you and the contractor.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, OYR is not liable for:
- loss, damage or injury caused by contractor work or negligence
- delays, cancellations or incomplete services
- disputes between you and a contractor
- any indirect or consequential loss
- damage to property arising from contractor work
Your use of this website and engagement with contractors is at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, but OYR does not provide services that fall within consumer guarantees related to workmanship.
